Do you know what happens when hell breaks loose on earth?
No you might not know because you aren’t living it. But yes hell did break on earth. And it broke on October 7, 2023.
The war between Israel and Palestine has taken such turns that now it’s neither a war nor genocide, it’s now hell. When all the laws are broken, all humanity is questioned, we should refrain from calling it war. And the one that isn’t war doesn’t have a ceasefire.
We announce a ceasefire where it actually happens. And in Gaza it’s just hell in different names, call it genocide, war or ceasefire. It’s now a synonym of it.
What I am saying sounds ridiculous but what I am going to say won’t.
Under the lie of ceasefire, an unsettling nightmare unfolds when the Palestinians bodies held in custody were returned, The Gaza’s health authorities laid a truth – beneath the white sheets lies not the dead bodies but the one who held the truth of Israel and their acts. Speaking volume of what they had endured and what is actually going behind bars.
On October 15, 2025, the Gaza Ministry of health announced that 45 bodies were returned, the number has increased over time making it 90. Yet these are not simply bodies. Forensic teams who had examined the remains describe chilling evidence:
The bodies were blindfolded, handcuffed, bounded by neck, missing limbs, organs, fractures, deep wounds and severe signs of torture all over their bodies.
Dr. Munir al-Bursh, director-general of Gaza’s Health Ministry, spoke in blunt, anguished terms: these bodies “were returned to us bound like animals … bearing horrific signs of torture and burns.” He insisted they “did not die naturally; they were executed after being restrained.
The horror doesn’t end there. Gaza authorities claim that many of the corpses are missing vital organs — eyes, corneas, internal parts. The government media office, led by Ismail Thawabta, accused Israel of “organ theft,” calling it a “barbaric crime.” Such allegations, if verified, would amount to a crime against humanity — a grotesque desecration of life even after death.
Where have you seen this kind of war? Is it really a war?
The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor says that many of the returned bodies “bore clear marks of hanging, rope imprints around their necks … injuries from close-range gunfire, bound hands and feet … some crushed under tanks … severe signs of physical torture, fractures, burns.”
And this wasn’t enough, when you can hear the truth by those who returned alive…
“I was raped by trained guard dogs for 15 minutes” A 45 year old man returned alive from the detentions.
“They bind my hand to metal and take turns to rape me” A women in mid 40s told the media.
And the reality in Israel is that, a rapist is welcomed, interviewed in media and praised in society, while the one who is against and leaked it all is pressed with charges. You can understand the mind-set only from these words. I don’t need words to make you understand anything else.
The scale of the alleged atrocity is staggering. According to The Guardian, at least 135 of the mutilated bodies came from Sde Teiman, a detention facility infamous for torture. Tags found in body bags reportedly trace back to the prison, raising disturbing questions about what happens behind the walls.
International investigators are being pressed to act. The Gaza officials and the human rights groups demand an independent inquiry of the systematic abuse. Israel has not offered a detailed public response to the most serious charges. So far, it has not contested that all returned bodies came from combatants — but it has denied systematic mistreatment before death.
Like these signs appear out of nowhere or YEAH! You can blame that it’s all a lie and Hamas did that? That’s what we have been doing since the start.
And one thing which made me wonder that maybe I was born in the wrong place or I am studying in the wrong country and college is that no one has ever raised their voices in this situation. We are the students, the ones who know everything but we are not taking serious actions against such menaces.
I don’t know if we are keeping our voices silent and just watching it all like some Netflix drama. I don’t think we can actually call ourselves educated and learned. As a youngster and a human being if this isn’t our place to voice it out then there is no other place.
